Caring for your Silver jewellery

Stirling silver will tarnish with time and wear. To take care of your jewellery you need to polish it frequently with a soft dry cloth to avoid tarnish, however it is recommended that you use a Stirling silver jewellery cleaning cloth. By doing this you will help retain the items original lustre and shine. Avoid contact with any chemicals, perfume, hairspray and deodorant, body lotion, bleach, cleaning product etc. To maintain the condition of this item you should remove when showering, swimming. We do not recommend wearing your sterling silver jewellery if doing manual or domestic work. Makeup on the skin that comes into contact with Stirling silver can cause the jewellery to tarnish due to the chemicals that are in makeup. Silver also tarnish’s more in areas with high humidity or high levels of air pollution.
